As soon as November arrived it was time to get out the festive bedding! I do have a couple of other sets too, and I think I’m due to change to the cosy red reindeer fairisle printed one I bought from Primark last year! I absolutely love seasonal bedding as well as loads of snuggly festive cushions!

Lately I have been treating myself to a few too many caramel hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows, but can you blame me?!

My Mum put the Christmas tree up whilst I was away on holiday and then when I got home I decorated it using my favourite red and white decorations. I’ve tried to go with a Nordic theme, but my favourite decoration will always be the cute little stuffed gingerbread man!

It was only this week I finally brought out the ‘big coat’ which also happens to be my Christmas coat! I bought this years ago from Miss Selfridge and it’s still going strong. It has adorable little bows attached to the pockets and a cute skirted shape. I wear it along with a black furry collar I bought last year in the sale.

At the weekend I took a trip to a little market town near me called Olney. It’s only a small place but their high street is adorned with these beautiful little cottages which are all decorated with handmade wreaths. I was a bit creepy taking photos of peoples front doors, but they’re just so pretty!

Also whilst I was out this weekend I went on a little walk collecting holly, ivy and berries to make a table decoration. I made this sweet little plate adorned with all of the foliage and stuck a big red glittery candle in the middle.. perfect! Love a bit of Christmas crafts!

Also whilst I was out I ended up buying a few more cute little festive bits and pieces. Wilko are doing all of their Christmas decorations half price already so I bought two of the cute little stuffed stars (50p each), the wooden Noel decoration (37p!), and the metal polka dot heart (also only 37p!). I also picked up the glass and gold Merry Christmas sign for only £1.50 which is now hanging on the wall in the hallway.. bargain!

I found the tiny little floral reindeer cake stand in a charity shop for only £2. I’m not really sure what I’ll do with it but it is cute! The little ceramic tea light houses I got last year from dotcomgiftshop, and the big reindeer was half price in a little boutique shop near me, and was only £4.50.

On my little cupboard I am keeping all of my glass dome baubles because I’m worried that if I put them on my Christmas tree the cat will end up pulling them down and smashing them everywhere! So they stay nice and safely in my dressing room The two round ones at the back (Christmas tree and reindeer) I bought from Asda for £2.50 each, and I bought the two front ones (owl and bird) from a little boutique shop for £5 each.

I also spent a little while having a good tidy up of my dressing room and bedroom! I ended up listing quite a few things on those local Facebook selling pages and managed to sell everything I listed within a couple of days. It was well worth it! And now my rooms are all nice and tidy and organised again in time for Christmas!

I couldn’t resist buying this cute little festive snowflake china set from Home Bargains recently. I think the mug and the side plate were only £1.49 each and they’re so pretty! I used the mug to make a nice big cookie crumble creamy hot chocolate!

I have this adorable mini Christmas tree up in my dressing room which I absolute love. I bought it from B&M for about £8 last year and it was such a good little investment. It even has cute little fairy lights on the end of the stems, and it’s the perfect size for a little room. I love decorating it with dainty decorations!

All of the usual high street restaurants have their festive menus out at the moment, and on a recent visit to Prezzo (my fav!) I decided to give their ‘Camembert Star’ a try.  It was very pretty to look at and the cranberry chutney accompaniment was lovely, but unfortunately it wasn’t melted all the way through!

Ali Express is amazing for a lot of things, but I can seriously highly rate them for their enormous range of stunning phone case designs! I decided to order a couple of Christmassy cases for less than £1 each (and free shipping!) and I fell in love with these two. The little cat one looks just like Merl!

I love getting out all of my pretty Christmas decorations! Everything feels so homely, especially when the candles are on. I’ve also been successfully making my way through my Godiva chocolate advent calendar which is just DELICIOUS!

And finally, here’s the outfit I wore last Friday to work for National Christmas Jumper Day! I got this jumper 3 years ago from Tuffle Shuffle and I wear it throughout Christmas with pride! #crazycatlady
